Sale to the UK Department of Health
- Life Resources, Inc. (“LRI”) was the largest independent source blood plasma collection company in the United States.
- LRI engaged Scura Partners to find a buyer of its business when LRI’s principals desired liquidity but wanted to maintain operational control of the business for a meaningful period of time.
- We were able to structure a transaction with the British Government that provided a large upfront payment and meaningful incentive payments for LRI’s principals while allowing the principals to maintain complete control over day-to-day operations.
- The ultimate purchase price we were able secure was 2 times industry average on a per plasma collection center basis.
